Ice fishing and possesed worms

Finally went ice fishing!!! Spent 4 hours on the ice trying to get next meal’s meat but no luck The old guy next to me worked some kind of magic cause he got 5 or more. The feeling was …. weird and exciting at the same time. After digging your hole you just have to sit there for hours waiting for it to bite. Esa (the Finnish friend who took us) says the trick is in constantly moving the fishing thingy so that the fish thinks the bate is alive…what a load of bull! if i were a fish swimming under 70cm of ice, all quiet, all zen, chillin’ and i saw this yammy tasty “i-want-to-cook-your-ass-for-dinner” worm swinging like crazy on the hook, acting all possesed and shit i would get my better-put-some-garlic-on tail outta there! There’s no music down there, man! Gotta look all kewl and down and … well, un-possesed i guess anyway, after hours of freezing my ass and laughing like hell and trying to get the golden fish we decided i had experienced enough of the Finnish ice fishing and took our cubed behinds to Sweden for some giant pizza. Kiitos, Esa!!!

notes:
-the only thing i “caught” was some weed
-Esa bet me that i don’t have the guts to eat one of the tiny ass worms. Well, guess again!!!
-we got one of the old people to “lend” us a fish just to show our tourist skills once again and take photos with it as if we had caught it
-the ice fishing was actually a tombola-like competition and one of the guys in charge came to us and gave their excuses for not finding a Romanian flag to arbor given that they put up each of the present-on-the-ice nationalities’ flags. I was still wondering for 5min how the hell they knew we were there (there were 3000 people on the river and i guess i was the only one wearing sneakers ) and then Esa explained that on the ticket it was written. Again…gotta love Finland
